I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist based in Sydney, and a lover of food.
As a Dietitian and Nutritionist, I work with people who are looking to create sustainable long-term healthy lifestyle changes; effectively manage medical conditions; navigate IBS or food intolerance; and establish a healthy relationship with food.
I take pride in offering individualized support for every single client I see. I will listen to what you have been through, where you’re at now, and what advice and guidance you need to get where you’re going with your diet, eating and lifestyle habits.
My goals for you for each session are:
A dietitian consultation is very different from a consultation with your doctor. Your first consultation will be for 1 hour (or longer for some health conditions), so we have time to take a detailed look at your health issues and your current diet and lifestyle patterns. I will spend time asking you lots of questions to try to get a thorough history of your health, what you eat and what sort of factors affect your eating. You will be asked questions about your eating habits and food intake and perhaps about your digestion or any symptoms you may be experiencing.
Once I have the information I need, we can work together to come up with a nutrition plan to achieve your health goals.
Your initial consultation session will involve a detailed nutritional health assessment, including physical, medical, dietary, social and lifestyle factors. An individualised nutrition care plan will be developed, focusing on goal setting and strategies to achieve your nutritional goals.
In your review consultation session we will monitor your progress and continue to provide you with practical advice and ongoing support. Changes may be made to your nutrition care plan to achieve your nutritional goals.
Frequency of review consultations are determined on an individualised basis. It is recommended for ongoing appointments to be between 1 and 4 weeks apart.
